That's some advice for some aspiring writers from Mullingar author, Patricia Gibney, who published her first book in 2017.
So far, she has sold 2.5m copies across 17 countries.
She is due to release her 14th book in September on Culture Night in Tullamore Library, with 5 more books due to come from her contract.
