Calls For Tanyard Site Revamp In Westmeath Following Anti-Social Behaviour

A detailed assessment, covering both valuation and feasibility, is currently underway.

A Westmeath Councillor is calling for a derelict Kinnegad site to be acquired and redeveloped.

Denis Leonard wants the Tanyard site in the town turned into age-friendly housing, parking and improved town-centre access.

This comes following a number of fires and anti-social behaviour at the location. 

An appraisal, including valuation and feasibility are being prepared.
