A Westmeath County Councillor believes a detailed map is needed to showcase what the county has to offer.
More needs to be done to highlight local amenities, heritage sites and events in Westmeath.
Fianna Fail Councillor Niall Gaffney is putting the idea for detailed maps to show sites to supplement the work that is being done by Ireland's Hidden Heartlands scheme.
He is also suggesting a local calendar of events for towns and villages.
