Call For Outdoor Seating Supports For Local Restaurants And Cafes

Local restaurants and coffee shops should be getting help with buying outdoor furniture, according to a Westmeath councillor. 

John Dolan believes the council should be copying other local authorities in Ireland by buying seating and outdoor heaters for businesses.

Under Level Three restrictions, food can be served to a maximum of 15 people outside. 

The Fine Gael rep says other counties have been more proactive in helping business owners.
