That's the message from Athlone Councillor John Dolan ahead of his charity fun run in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation this weekend.
The Fine Gael rep suffered a cardiac arrest at his home in 2017, and was rushed to hospital by air ambulance where he stayed in a coma for days.
He's organised the run with the Athlone Defibrillator Group, where people can run 5, 10, or 20k, and it starts at the Regional Sports Centre in Athlone on Sunday at 11 am.
Councillor Dolan says it's his way of giving back to those who helped him:
