Some feel 11pm is too early for the music to stop.
A public consultation will open in Westmeath to determine whether street performers can play after 11pm during the Fleadh.
The issue has been raised by local councillors, after some members of Westmeath County Council stated it may be too early for buskers to finish.
But Councillor Hazel Smyth says it may lead to complaints from older people and families with young children.
