The 54km will bypass a number of towns.
The public's views are being sought on a long-awaited midlands road upgrade.
The N4 Mullingar to Roosky route was allocated €1.4 million from Transport Infrastructure Ireland's road announcements earlier this year.
It will span 52km, bypassing Rathowen, Edgeworthstown and Newtown Forbes.
A draft emerging preferred route corridor is being prepared, with a series of consultations on it set to be held next week.
The section of the N4 continues to see high collision statistics, with over 200 personal injury collisions reported between 2008 and 2023.
The Longford Arms Hotel will host the first on Tuesday between 2pm and 8pm, while the second will take place in the Mullingar Park Hotel on Wednesday at the same time.
The final in-person consultation will be held in Edgeworthstown Library on Thursday, with a virtual consultation available online from July 2nd.
