BYDs are coming to the Midlands.
A Westmeath motor dealership is adding a new EV brand to its showrooms.
Mullingar Autos has been appointed by Motor Distributions Limited to sell BYD EVs.
The announcement means BYD's national dealer network now totals 16 outlets overall, with a number of further appointments expected to be announced soon.
Vicky Reilly, BYD Ireland National Sales Manager said: “A trusted name in the Irish motoring landscape for over half a century, we are delighted to welcome Mullingar Autos – and the extensive expertise they bring – to the BYD dealer network, in a region where no previous representation existed for the brand.”
Jim Bourke, Dealer Principal at Mullingar Autos said: “With the speed at which the brand is growing, this is a very exciting time for us to become a representative of BYD, and we very much look forward to introducing our customers in the midlands to their attractive range of both fully electric and Super Hybrid vehicles, all of which are available now at our premises.”
