A midlands hotel group has announced an increase in pre-tax profits of 5%.
The Hodson Bay Group - run by Westmeath-based hotelier John O'Sullivan posted a €2.1 million profit for the last 12 months.
Revenues were up 3% to €31.7 million for the group which includes two hotels in Athlone and expanded into Dublin last year.
Staff costs also increased by €300,000 for the chain, which now employs 650 people across its operations.
