A Westmeath man who passed away in a house fire this week is being laid to rest tomorrow.
John 'Jackie' Smyth lost his life after a blaze broke out at his home in Castlepollard shortly after 1 am Wednesday morning.
Jackie's mass will take place at St Michael's Church, Castlepollard at noon tomorrow, followed by burial afterwards in St Michael's Cemetery, Castlepollard
He is survived by his brother Paddy, sisters Nuala, Phyllis, Olive and Ethel and his wider family.
