It follows four earlier arrests in other areas of the country.
Meanwhile a man in his twenties in Westmeath has been arrested as part of an ongoing fraud investigation by Gardaí.
He's currently being detained at Castlerea Garda Station
Earlier today four people were arrested following searches in Cork, Roscommon and Tipperary.
The arrests were made under Operation Boxplot, which is based in North Cork, and Operation Skein which is countrywide.
Those operations are targeting gangs that Gardai believe are laundering money that's been received fraudulently.
