Westmeath Mansion Worth Over €1.7m Hits Housing Market

Delvin's South Hill House used to house a special school and is being offered in four lots.

A historic Westmeath mansion is hitting the market with a guide price of over €1.7m. 

South Hill House is a 139-acre country estate in Delvin that was once home to Lawrence of Arabia, and later operated as a special school by the Sisters of Mercy. 

The early 19th-century property is being offered in four lots, with the main house and 68 acres guiding between €900,000 and €1m according to the Irish Independent.

An additional farmland and a two-acre wood is being sold separately.
