Westmeath Town Finally Moving On From Economic Crash - Denis Leonard

125 new homes are coming to Kinnegad.

A Westmeath town is finally emerging from its post celtic-tiger hangover.

That's according to Labour rep Denis Leonard after the county's local authority granted planning permission for 125 new homes in Kinnegad.

The development will comprise of 93 two-storey terraced units, offering a mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes.

Along with 10 detached and semi-d four-bed houses and 22 apartments.

The Mullingar/Kinnegad councillor says it's a big step forward to get the planning approved:
