A Westmeath woman living abroad is thanking a local business for looking out her mother.
Her 89 year old mother lives alone in Mullingar, and her daughter is unable to make her usual visits home from London due to the pandemic.
The woman - who has asked not to be named - was having trouble ordering kindling for her mother's fire online.
When she located Westmeath company Flamers Fire Logs, they offered to supply and deliver ten bags of kindling and four fire logs free of charge.
