The ring, which is 35 years old, has a gold band, and an oval ruby which is surrounded by eight diamonds.
A woman is appealing for help after losing her engagement ring in the midlands.
Naoimh Gearty was travelling from Galway to Dublin on Saturday 25th February, and says the ring fell off her lap when she got out of the car while getting petrol at Pump No 1 at the Applegreen, Arcadia Retail park in Athlone.
She doesn't have a picture of the ring, which is 35 years old, but says it has a gold band, and an oval ruby which is surrounded by eight diamonds.
