Gardaí in Offaly are investigating the robbery of a woman in broad daylight.
The incident occurred in the Lloyd Park area of Tullamore between 1:30 and 1:45 this afternoon.
A man accosted the woman and stole the contents of her purse, before fleeing the scene on a bicycle.
He is described as wearing a grey hoodie, being of stocky build and five foot 10 inches in height.
Gardaí are asking anyone who was in the area at the time or may have information to contact Tullamore Garda station.
