"Working Poor" Cut Out Of Housing Market - Labour

Westmeath Labour Councillor Denis Leonard is critical of the State's approach to housing.

A lack of take up in affordable homes, means they were never affordable to begin with.

That's the opinion of Westmeath Councillor, Denis Leonard.

He claims that people are being pushed into situations where they either give up work to try and get a social home, or work in multiple jobs to afford to get a mortgage.
