The Sheraton Athlone Hotel is temporarily closed after water damage on Friday.
All hands are on deck to reopen a Westmeath hotel following signficant water damage over the weekend.
It follows Athlone Shopping Centre having to open its doors late on Saturday, following a flooding incident in the Sheraton Athlone Hotel on Friday.
The Athlone Fire Service assisted at the scene, which local Gardai say was due to a burst water tank.
It's understood the shopping centre is back operating as normal, and the hotel still remains closed.
