Colin Fortune’s team secured a draw to Shamrock Rovers
Athlone Town's Katherine Sullivan has been named in the Women's Premier Division team of the week for round two.
The forward played her part in a hard fought point away to Shamrock Rovers where it ended 1-1 at Tallaght Stadium last weekend.
It was the home side through who took the lead thanks to a brilliant free kick from Ruesha Littlejohn who was making her debut for the Dublin side.
However the midlanders equalised thanks to Kelly Brady's strike just before halftime and despite a red card for Kellie Brennan Athlone held on for an important point.
