Despite defeat in the Tailteann Cup decider, Laois are reflecting on a positive season.
Laois' footballers are reading their Tailteann Cup Final defeat as a stepping stone to bigger things.
It comes after the O'Moore County failed to reel in Down in the Croke Park decider to go down by two points.
The scoreline is a significant improvement on the 22 point hammering they received from the same team in the competition's semi-final the year previous.
The highlight of the game was undoubtedly Mark Barry's screamer in the dying minutes to throw the game back in to the melting pot.
