Christmas festivals begin today
There is top class Racing action here at home today at in the UK.
At Limerick the Christmas festival action starts at 12.25 with a seven race card.
The big race is at 2.40, the Matchbook Betting Exchange Novice Chase which brings together Samcro and former Champion Hurdle hero Faugheen.
At Leopardstown there are also seven races on the card starting at 10 past 12. The big race of the day is the Racing Post Novice Chase at 2.20 and in that contest Laurina trained by Willie Mullins and ridden by Paul Townend will go off as the warm favourite.
There is also action in Down Royal today and the first race there is off at 12 noon.
