The Panthers initially had a successful appeal which would have seen the entire game replayed.
Basketball Ireland has confirmed the final 0.3 seconds of the Portlaoise Panthers and Limerick Sport Eagles game will be replayed.
The Laois club lost the quarter final by two points, but appealed to the National Appeals Committee the game deciding free throws in favour of Limerick shouldn't have been awarded.
That appeal was successful and the NAC said the entire game would be replayed, but the National League Committee says Panthers were given the option to appeal the decision in error, because on-court refereeing decisions cannot be overturned.
It says the final 0.3 seconds will be replayed this week, not the entire game.
