Leinster have lost three of the last five finales.
Robbie Henshaw has been named to start at outside centre for this year's Champions Cup final.
The Athlone man is partnered in the Leinster centre by Jamie Osborne, with Hugo Keenan returning to full back and James Ryan claiming a place on the bench after a long term bicep injury.
In terms of the subs, Leo Cullen is opting for a 6-2 split - Luke McGrath and Ciaran Frawley are the two backs named on the bench.
Jimmy O'Brien and Ross Molony miss out on the matchday 23, while Garry Ringrose again misses out as he continues to recover from a shoulder injury.
