Joe McDonagh Cup: Laois v Offaly - Manager's Preview

Willie Maher and Johnny Kelly join Midlands 103 to look forward to this weekend's Championship opener.

Laois meet Offaly in the first round of the Joe McDonagh Cup for the second year in a row but with their respective roles reversed.

The O'Moore County are this year's Division 2A Champions and play host to an Offaly side yet to pick up a win this season.

Laois manager Willie Maher says he's taking nothing for granted when it comes to Sunday's opposition.

He looks forward to welcoming Offaly to O'Moore Park with Midlands 103's David Hollywood:

Offaly boss Johnny Kelly says he's been impressed by Laois' latest performance.

It's all to play for, Laois are performing really well, they performed really well in the league final against Carlow, they're coming with momentum.
