Kilbeggan racecourse has joined a breakaway group of five Irish tracks due to an on-going row with Horse Racing Ireland.
The dispute is centred around media rights payments.
Limerick, Thurles, Sligo, Roscommon and the Westmeath track insist that HRI is taking too big a slice of the money paid by betting companies for live pictures of racing in Ireland.
Mark Costello, General Manager of The Irish Field, says if the breakaway group, named 'United Irish Racecourses', do their own deal it would be an unprecedented move:
