An Athlete from a Laois club is among the entrants for the Irish Life Elite Micro Meet this weekend.
Saragh Buggy of St. Abban's in Crettyard will compete in the women's long jump on Sunday.
It offers a chance for the Kilkenny native to qualify for the 2021 European Indoor Championships in Poland in March.
To meet the qualifying standard, she will have to jump 6.80m or further.
