First up on Saturday, Ballyfin had an 0-11 to 0-09 win over The Heath.
On Sunday, Emo had their first win over Portloiase in 72 years, ending 0-11 to 1-6 there.
Their manager John Strong credits the players work ethic for the victory:
Portarlington beat O'Dempsey's, 0-08 to 0-04.
And Ballylinan lost out to Graiguecullen, 1-09 to 1-06.
The draw for semi-finals is set to take place on November 2nd.
