One of Rathdowney Errill's star performers is highlighting their "savage" preparation for the senior hurling championship semi-finals which helped them make a county final this year.
The 2019 champions avoided losing a fifth consecutive semi-final by beating last year's beaten finalists Abbeyleix.
The final score was 1-19 to 3-10.
After a tricky first half, Ross King made a telling contribution to that victory, ultimately registering a goal and seven points.
