The action at Le Golf National gets underway on Thursday morning at 8am.
Shane Lowry will get his campaign for an Olympic medal tomorrow morning from 10.44am.
The Clara man will be joined by Korea Republic's An Byeong-Hun, and Canada's Nick Taylor.
Lowry's team mate Rory McIlroy will get the Irish challenge underway with a 9.11am tee time.
He will be playing his three-ball with Sweden's Ludwig Aberg and Scottie Scheffler of the USA.
McIlroy will be looking to go one better than in Tokyo where the four time major champion missed out on a medal after losing in a play-off.
Lowry came home in a tie for 22nd.
Taipei's C.T. Pan, who won that bronze medal ahead of McIlroy in Japan is part of the first group out on course.
He'll be joined by home favourite Victor Perez of France, and Mattias Schmid from Germany at 8am.
