He led the club to back to back Laois titles.
After leading Portarlington to two consecutive Laois Football titles, Pat Roe has decided to step down from his role as manager.
He leaves the role following two years at the helm in which he guided the club to the Jack Delaney Cup in both of his seasons in charge.
Roe secured wins over Old Leighlin and Naomh Mairtin in this season's Leinster Championship, before his side suffered a disappointing eight point exit at the hands of Athy in the semi-finals.
The club will now begin the process of appointing a new manager as they go in search of securing three in a row for the second time this decade.
