Alex Pritchard of Richardsons Trek is the winner of the first stage of this year's Rás Tailteann.
Ireland's biggest stage race, which set off from Tullamore earlier today saw three riders breakaway from the peleton and survive multiple chase groups to make it to the finish in Kilmallock Limerick.
Pritchard made his move in the closing stages to gap both Paul Kennedy from Team Skyline, and Foran CT's Dom Jackson to win.
The defending Rás champion, Dillon Corkery was the first home from the chasing pack in fourth.
