Wesmeath Travel To Newbridge In Joe McDonagh This Weekend

The Lake County were undone by Laois last weekend.

Westmeath will look to bounce back from their opening Joe McDonagh Cup defeat to Laois this weekend, as they travel to Newbridge to take on Kildare.

The Lake County know another loss will leave them in danger of advancing to the final even at this early stage.

Kildare find themselves in the same situation having lost out to Kerry in their opening match.

Midlands103 commentator Gerry Buckley says Westmeath will have to improve dramatically if they are to leave Newbridge with a win.
