The latest update is being released today.
Those who update their iPhones will be able to un-send messages.
iOS 16, which is released today, will allow people to retrieve a message up to 2 minutes after it's sent.
However, senders will be warned that although the message has been un-sent, the recipient may have already seen it.
There will also be a new feature to allow messages to be edited up to five times, 15 minutes after the message was sent.
However, the recipient will be able to see all previous versions of the edited message in slightly grayed-out chat bubbles.
