That's the advice from a Mullingar matchmaker when it comes to online dating this Valentine's Day.
Mairead Loughman is from Matchmaker HQ and is giving her best tips for dating in the online age.
Other tips include clear communcation with potential partners and spending no longer than three weeks talking to someone online before setting up that crucial first date.
She also says communication is key when on the search for love, and to be honest if you're being ghosted.
