Pensioner Who Won O'Neill's GAA Shorts Signed By Paul Mescal Never Watched Normal People

The shorts were raffled off as a fundraiser for his local club.

A 78 year old farmer who won a pair of O'Neill's GAA shorts signed by Paul Mescal says he's never watched Normal People.

West Clare local Noel Ryan made the comment after his local GAA club Cooraclare confirmed he had the winning raffle ticket.

The shorts were raffled off as a fundraiser for the club, and Noel says the framed item will take pride of place in his home.

A club spokesperson told the Irish Independent that most of the funds from the raffle will go toward renovating the gym.
