New figures show breaks away to the Canaries, Portugal and Spain are significantly more expensive for peak times, compared to before the pandemic.
The Irish Travel Agents Association says the average price for a holiday to Lanzarote was €746, but that's now risen to €831.
Holidays are even more expensive for the Algarve in Portugal, jumping by 16 per cent for this July and August.
The figures examined are based on a 7-night stay.
