Shorter Exercise Sessions May Be More Beneficial

Three seconds of exercise may make you stronger.

Exercising for as little as three seconds a day can make you stronger.

Researchers in Australia found tiny amounts of activity performed regularly can improve fitness and health as muscles like to be stimulated regularly.

Scientists at Edith Cowan University found slowly lowering a heavy dumbbell from a bent to a straight arm for three seconds five days a week, significantly improved muscle strength.

The study published in the European Journal of Applied Physiology also found regular, shorter sessions are more beneficial than one or two longer training sessions in a week.
