Met Eireann has revealed the storm names for the upcoming Winter season.

Antoni will be the first storm, if named by the national weather services of Ireland, the UK or the Netherlands.

Betty, Cillian, Daisy and Elliot make up the first five, while a really bad season could also see the likes of Storms Khalid, Nelly or Ruadhan.

Head of Forecasting at Met Eireann, Clonaslee's Evelyn Cusack, says they received many suggestions from the public but couldn't use them all:
