What Is The Strangest Room Service Request You Have Made?

Nearly one in three guests spend at least €100 on room service.

Diet water, melted ice cream and rice bowls for dogs are some of the weirder room service requests hotels receive.

A survey of 500 accommodation providers by Hotels.com found guests are asking for boiled bottled water and giant servings of bison and blowfish sent to their room.

One guest even phoned room service asking for a fish they'd brought with them to be cooked and served.

The Mirror reports nearly one in three guests spend at least €100 on room service, with burgers the most popular item ordered.

Ray Byrne, owner of Wineport Lodge in Westmeath, was speaking with Will Faulkner on Midlands Today about some of the requests he has received:
