Figures from the National Treatment Purchase Fund show 400 of those on the outpatient list, have been waiting longer than a year.
Over 26,000 people are on a waiting list in the hospitals in Tullamore, Mullingar and Portlaoise.
More than 450,000 people were on a waiting list longer than the Sláintecare target of 12 weeks at the end of January.
However, the Department of Health says that's a decrease of 8% on the figures at the end of February last year.
