The number of patients with Covid-19 in public hospitals has reached its lowest point in 111 days, with 209 people receiving treatment last night.
The figures for midlands hospitals also continue to fall, with 16 people being treated for the virus today, down from 29 last Friday.
It comes as NPHET urges people to continue to keep their contacts down to stop the spread of Covid-19.
The Deputy Chief Medical Officer says he "never, ever" wants to have to recommend lockdown measures to Government again.
