That's the view of Mullingar's Hazel Behan, co-founder of Midlands support and advocacy organisation Eist after a woman has received justice for sexual abuse at the hands of her brother.
79-year-old Seán Monaghan of The Harbour, Marketpoint in Mullingar was jailed yesterday for three years after pleading guilty to the incident over 60 years ago.
During the hearing, the court heard the life of the victim, Julie Fogarty had been changed forever 'in a bad way.'
