A Laois-Offaly TD says the company is putting staff in danger.
The Minister for Agriculture is disputing comments that a meat processing company in the midlands allowed coronavirus to spread in its factory.
Sinn Féin TD for Laois-Offaly, Brian Stanley, says 120 staff at Rosderra Meats in Roscrea have tested positive for covid-19.
He says social distancing and health and safety measures are not being implemented, despite employees raising concerns with management.
Speaking in the Dáil last night, Minister Michael Creed said he's aware of six clusters of coronavirus in meat plants around the country.
He gave this response to Deputy Stanley's remarks:
