Safer Births Ireland wants to see a review conducted into the deaths of 41 babies in hospital.
The Government will be pressed to establish a commission of investigation into baby deaths in hospital next month.
Safer Births Ireland claims a review needs to be launched into over 40 baby deaths in hospitals around the country, including as many as five in the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise.
It will bring its campaign to Leinster House on March 5th, where it will present its case to TDs and Senators.
Portlaoise's Claire Cullen, who's a member of the group, says we haven't learned from the report into the deaths of four babies in Portlaoise Hospital over a decade ago:
Over 1,000 people have already signed a petition from the organisation.
Ms. Cullen has been speaking to Midlands 103's Kamron Clarke, and says we can't deal with these issues in a decade:
Anybody who wishes to sign the petition, can do so here.
