BnM have successfully secured planning permission to keep a mast to monitor wind farms in Offaly.
The mast is stationed in Cloneyhurke's Garryhinch Bog and is around 100 metres in height.
BNM claim the purpose of the mast is in order to assess the suitability of adjacent lands owned by the company for wind farm development.
Offaly County Council have approved permission subject to 2 conditions.
