Book Of Condolence Opened For Family Killed In M6 Crash

A fundraiser to repatriate their bodies has already reached almost €93,000.

An online book of condolence has been opened for the family that was killed in last week's crash on the M6.

Galway City Council is inviting members of the pubic to extend their sympathies to the relatives Karzan Sabah, his wife Shahen Qasm and their baby daughter eight-month-old Lena.

The Kurdish family had been living in Ireland since 2017.

A GoFundMe page - set up to raise money to repatriate their bodies to  Iraq - has reached almost €93,000, with over 3,500 people donating.
