The stakes are being raised from last year's event.
Bressie is set to embark on another grueling journey, to raise funds and awareness for mental health.
The Westmeath singer will endure 'The Rising 2024' kayak along the River Shannon for six days, cycle 110 kilometres from Limerick to Killarney and end the journey by climbing Ireland's highest peak, Carrauntoohil.
It's all in aid of 'A Lust For Life' the mental health charity co-founded by Bressie, and follows the success of last year's adventure also along the Shannon.
He will be joined by the same team from last year, as well as Irish artist Maser, and they will set off this September.
Niall Breslin says "We’re raising the stakes and inviting everyone to join us. Every step you take, or donation you make, supports our mission to help young people thrive. It’s about getting together and advocating for the well-being of a new generation."
