Income limits and house prices are set to increase for people who want to avail of a home-loan from their local authority.
Cabinet has approved changes to the scheme, which will see house price limits increase by between €300,000 and €360,000 depending on the area.
The house price limit in Westmeath will increase by €50,000 to €300,000.
The increase in Laois and Offaly is half of that, jumping by €25,000, bringing the limit in those counties up to €275,000
