Strong opposition to a proposed windfarm is coming from East Offaly.
The proposed Derrynadaragh Wind Farm will be on a mix of agricultural, peatland and forestry lands on the Offaly-Kildare border, around a kilometre from Bracknagh village.
The company behind the project, Dara Energy, held a community information event on May 7th at Bracknagh Community Hall.
However a local journalist says a number of questions went unanswered and the organisation failed to engage in a meaningful way.
