Family Carers Ireland is calling for the Government to address the financial issues carers face everyday in the Budget.
The Offaly charity's State of Caring 2024 report found 69% of carers find it difficult to make ends meet.
It also found that 49% have paid privately for products or services which should be publicly provided to support their caring role.
